Here are five random things from my week. (Okay month, but these are pretty exciting!!)
I am a homebody. I find comfort in being at home, but last Sunday, June 16th I decided to venture out. I was looking for a few things for a project (oh pinterest) and needed some groceries. Well, as I was heading to the check out a heard a loud scream, the next several minutes were definitely a blurr, but then reality set in! A man had just robbed the bank inside the store. ( Click Picture for link) Needless to say, I think I’ll stay a homebody for awhile. What in the world is wrong with people?
Summertime projects are in full swing. Here is a glimpse at one of my projects I just started. Make sure to watch my blog for the before and after. I can’t wait to complete this!!! Super Excited for the Final Result.
Oh My Word… Did you know that I have an addiction to “smelly’ products (markers, pens, stickers, erasers, etc.) I love scentos and I love a good bargain. Loaded up for next year. I am thinking maybe birthday, holiday, prize patrol, or who knows. Anyone else love these??
Welcome to the family- Zak. This is the newest member of our little family. I was a bit apprehensive the day I pulled into the driveway and this face greeted me at the door. Needless to say, he is a “gentle giant” who is petrified ( not sure if that is a big enough word to describe his fear) of a storm. Holy Smokes~ I have never seen such a scaredy cat. He cowers down and puts his tail between his leg, poor thing. You just gotta feel for him. We had a horrendous storm on Tuesday evening, let’s just say Zak and I bonded through the night. No sleep for me, but he felt safe.
Last, but definitely not least, I made the switch over to bloglovin’. If you haven’t heard google reader is vanished in just a few more days. I have been in denial about the switch but after looking at my calendar yesterday I figured it was time to pull up my big girl panties and accept that change was inevitable and it was going to be alright. You can click the link below to follow me on bloglovin’ trust me I have some great things coming up throughout the summer you are not going to want to miss.
Well, that’s it for my weekly monthly additional to
Always, Melissa

My sweet golden retriever is terrified of thunderstorms, too. What helps her is wearing a thundershirt and taking melatonin. I give her 2 3mg tablets in a bit of peanut butter. It's like magic - calms her down so she doesn't do the pacing, trembling, and panting she would otherwise. My vet approved it and I tell everyone I know with a storm-phobic dog.
ReplyDeleteAs for the robbery - that is crazy!
