Yo Ho Ho… It’s Pirate Time

Over the last few weeks, my mailbox has been running over with sweet comments and unit requests. First, I have to “thank you” for being so kind and generous. My bucket is running over and I can’t express how appreciative I am. The requests for themes is growing at a rapid pace. (I have been writing down your ideas!) I have been trying to update my units from last year, but I have not gotten to them. ( I am trying, but time is definitely getting away from me.)
I am loving the numerous different pirate theme activities and décor ideas I have gotten from pinterest. {Click Here to follow my pinterest pirate board}

Considering polka dots is one of my “favorite things” I see a pirate theme in my future classroom someday. Last year, I grabbed some adorable pirate themed items from the Target Dollar Spot during the summer. (Confession- Oh My!) I have a fetish with the dollar spot. Okay, maybe a borderline addiction- heck let’s be honest it’s a full-blown addiction. I can not seem to get enough. (It’s only a dollar, right…)
Without further ado, I present my newest theme unit.
