CURIOUS

Good Morning Everyone- I have gotten several emails about themes, classroom organizing, etc. My radar has now gone up and my curiosity is definitely spiked!! What is your theme for the 2011-2012 school year? I am going completely off the cuff this year. (Remember I am a special needs resource teacher servicing K-1. My space is small and I try to make it as inviting and “colorful” as I can.) My theme to be unveiled soon-Did you see my labels for this year-Did it give you a clue?

So are you picking one of these themes?

  7. My theme is pink and green. I decided I just can't afford to purchase all new things to correspond with a specific theme! I needed a new rug so I got one that has lots of pink and green and I purchased new baskets and peel and stick wall art from Dollar Tree. I am going to paint what I can so things match better.

  8. I don't necessarily have a theme! Am I missing out? I am afraid to tie myself to one theme. I can't wait to see pictures of all of the cool themes.

  9. I did bees last year and decided to do Pirates this year after switching 100 times. But I am sticking to my rule on creating everything on my computer so I don't have to buy anything.

  10. I am doing pirates again this year. I teach first grade and the kids just get so excited for it!!! This is my 4th year doing pirates, and I keep adding new ideas to it every year, so it's hard to switch after investing so much in it! :)

  18. Movie related props such as movie reels, film cans, director’s chair, megaphone and even director’s costume can be used to decorate a Hollywood theme party.
